My Project

During the COVID-19 pandemic, students with speech and language impairments missed out on countless opportunities to communicate in-person with their teachers and peers, resulting in even greater delays in their communication skills. The wonderful speech therapy students at Crutcho Public Schools need extra support to make academic and social gains alongside their peers. The speech therapy materials requested in this project will provide rich and diverse learning experiences so that students can work on their communication goals in meaningful ways. New books will help students to practice their speech and language while simultaneously improving their literacy skills. A variety of manipulatives and developmentally appropriate play-based activities will help maintain student engagement and maximize gains as they practice their social communication skills. Please consider supporting this project to help the speech therapy students at Crutcho Public Schools overcome the extra challenges they face due to the COVID-19 Pandemic!
