Help me give my students engaging lessons with a projector for digital learning and flexible seating in a time where we need to stay socially distanced.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My 2nd/3rd grade self contained classroom has 4 amazing students with significant learning challenges.They are a part of the Lower East Side community, one which is vibrant and diverse. Many of our students speak Spanish and come from immigrant families. The majority of our students are living in poverty and especially need access to technology and quality resources to be successful in school and beyond.
They are curious and excited learners!

My Project
We are currently in school with our students Monday - Thursday and the flexible seating will allow students to move away from their desks but stay socially distanced. It has been challenging to stay in the same spot all day.They will be able to write and use their tablets on these seats.
The projector will allow me to teach more engaging and flexible lessons remotely and in person.
For example, from home, I will be able to project papers I write on or move tiles around on the table. It will allow more seamless transition from discussions to modeling. I appreciate your support.
