Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our class is comprised of 25 excited 4th grade inquirers that are jubilant to embark upon this new learning year. We want to support and nourish their new classroom experience. They enjoy flexible learning options that are provided in the workshop curriculum which require a highly organized environment.

They are caring, gregarious, open minded, balanced, and reflective.

They are eager to begin the new year and thrilled to explore new learning options in the classroom. They possess an inspirational attititude towards learning. Their love of learning is visible every day and very inspirational!

My Project

This project will be used to purchase reading comprehension games to be used during Reading Workshop time. Towards the end of every school year, it can be easy for students to get bored of a reading routine and it is always fun to have something brand new to work on!

These games will provide a new and engaging way to practice reading comprehension!

The games will also continue to build students' teamwork and social skills. There are a variety of games that focus on skill building such as main idea, inferencing, cause and effect, vocabulary, and more!
