Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have the pleasure of working with a group of highly enthusiastic 4 and 5 year olds that love to learn. My students deserve the best high quality early childhood education so they can build a foundation to be successful in the years to come. My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds, and most are English Language Learners. Our school is a Title 1 school with 100% free and reduced lunch.

Having open art supplies in the art center will enhance and provide many opportunities for my students to create original masterpieces.

The storage containers will provide a way for easy access to their art materials. The Letter Cars will provide hands on learning as they drive the cars to the correct letter. The fine motor building kits will help develop hand eye coordination as well as strengthen the muscles in their hands that will help prepare them for writing.

I have such a great group of students who are eager to learn and deserve the best educational experience. I am looking forward to watching their growth and setting them up for success.
