Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work in a low income area in Aurora, Colorado. We have a very diverse group of students many of who immigrated here from other countries and are learning English. These students have obstacles to face but are highly capable and can achieve amazing growth this year with help from these items. Supplies like laminating sheets and sheet protectors help students to have access to organized lessons. The games are ways to engage students and to make learning fun. Students learn the essential skill of regulating emotions through posters, fidgets, and crafts. Students enjoy writing when they are able to use mechanical pencils and pens.
