Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Finding ways to motivate and engage students can be difficult. I've really noticed these last few years that students LOVE collecting stickers and charms for their Crocs. I think at least once a week a student comes up to me during class or in the hallway to show the Croc charm they stuck on their shoes this week. I am asking for a supply of stickers and croc charms to use as motivation and rewards for students completing extra work or participating in class.

As a teacher I'm constantly trying to keep kids engaged and while the appeal of a sticker or croc charm can work, sometimes you just need to be goofy to get their attention.

A bluetooth "carpool karaoke" microphone will help me do just that! This specific microphone will not only allow me to amplify my voice but I can apply multiple types of voice changes to catch them off guard and get their attention. I could also see this becoming a new favorite thing for students to use once they have completed their work to perform their own karaoke concerts in my classroom!
