This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love teaching a class with diverse learners. My class has students from different countries, and more than half the class speaks a second language. There are challenges that come with working with diverse needs and having language barriers, but I like finding new ways to help my students learn.

An iPad can help boost student engagement.

It can transform into any tool that I might need to help a student learn - a camera, a voice recorder, a math manipulative, a whiteboard, a digital book, etc. It can also be a helpful tool, like recording student observations to demonstrate academic progress and create content to enrich student learning experiences.
