Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students stay after school to continue to grow academically. They are working extra hard to improve their reading fluency and comprehension. As well, they are improving their math skills through the learning of fact families and more. Yet, it can be a pretty long day for them.

By providing them healthy snacks after school this will allow them to stay more focused and not be hungry.

For some this may be their last meal until the next day for school. By providing them these snacks, they will have the energy to focus, learn, and continue to grow academically to catch up to their peers.
