My Project

My goal for this project is to provide my students with the materials to conduct investigations about energy and how to be life-long energy savers!

Through a hands-on approach, my students will understand how energy works and what are the best methods to use it efficiently.

My students will conduct investigations where they test out different types of lightbulbs and compare the amount of energy it creates. Then they will use that data to compare how those lightbulbs affect different materials in a home. This will help them to understand why homes are built with certain materials and why it is the most effective.

With the materials in this project, they will have the opportunity to build different types of circuits and observe how energy travels. They can even build a circuit with a lemon! My students would be so excited to have these materials to explore learning with a stimulating and fun approach!!
