This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many students in our school come from low-income families. Some come to my class very hungry and have to wait until lunch, or they have to wait until they get to their home. My goal for this project is to provide a variety of snacks for my students (Kinder-3rd grade) that would last one semester. Snacks can play a crucial role in keeping kids energized during the school day. It can provide a steady source of energy that helps maintain concentration and alertness, ensuring that students stay focused and engaged in their learning. Additionally, snacks can curb hunger between meals, reducing distractions and promoting a more positive and productive classroom environment.
