Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are resilient, curious, and full of potential. They come from diverse backgrounds and face unique challenges, yet they show up eager to learn and grow every day. What makes them truly special is their ability to inspire me with their determination and creativity.

My goal is to provide my students with the tools and nourishment they need to focus, regulate their emotions, and actively participate in learning.

By addressing their basic needs and offering sensory supports, I aim to remove barriers to learning and empower my students to reach their full potential academically and socially.

The snacks, such as Nutri-Grain bars, Slim Jims, popcorn, fruit, and Starbursts, will keep my students nourished and energized, ensuring they can stay focused throughout the day. The sensory tools, including mini plushies, stress balls, fidgets, and the weighted cat pillow, will provide much-needed comfort and regulation, helping my students manage their emotions and remain engaged in learning. These resources create a supportive and inclusive environment where every child can feel safe and ready to succeed.

My students are extraordinary because they face challenges with courage and perseverance. Many come from economically disadvantaged homes, yet they show incredible strength and a desire to learn. Each student brings a unique personality and perspective that enriches our classroom. These resources will honor their individuality and support their success, showing them that their potential is limitless.
