My Project

Recovering from a global pandemic has been taxing on everyone. The effects of COVID-19 has impacted our education system, our students, and industries like our skilled labor sector. Using these industry standard tools like a portable band saw, students will work with each other, as well as industry partners to design and build Electrical Trainers. They will learn about careers in the electrical field. Students will use real tools, like the battery powered bandsaw, impact drills, and hand tools to install and wire electrical equipment to learn about real careers.

They will learn about team work, communication, and how to actually use real tools like a measuring tape, drill, and screwdriver!

They will also learn about the Electrical trades while designing and completing an actual electrical installation, using industry standard equipment and materials. The electrical field in in dire need of qualified electricians and technicians, and students building these trainers, along with our industry partners, will help prepare them for a meaningful, much needed, and rewarding career.
