Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is a Title I public school located in inner-city Los Angeles. Many of my students come from low-income families and do not have regular access to books, supplies, or even regular homework support. They depend on teachers and school staff for support.

They are eager and enthusiastic students who come to school with hope and a positive attitude every day.

I strive to provide them with an inviting learning environment.

My Project

The OgoSport Disk will provide my students with an opportunity to play outdoors while maintaining social distancing. It will give them the opportunity to play something different that they may not have at home. Students can learn diverse skills such as throwing, catching and bouncing while having fun.

Not only will it provide a fun experience but it will also develop their hand eye coordination, speed, agility, endurance and balance.

The disk will help develop the student's skill set while playing a game.The disk can be used during physical education time, indoors for rainy day schedules or outdoors on their own during recess time and even during one of our fun day activities.
