Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The last two years have impacted our students, teachers, schools, and communities. The students who already struggled academically, emotionally, financially, and motivationally have become more complacent or disconnected. I want to bring more authentic activities to the classroom by supplying the students with the tools they need and rewards/incentives for them doing well. Many of my students do not receive the encouragement or praise they need to recognize their abilities and success. I want them to know they are achieving and their achievement is individualized and want them to be proud of themselves for the small accomplishments or growth.
