My Project

Our School hosts a themed based Spring Art Exhibition, each year. This year we will explore different ecosystems and create artwork inspired by Tropical Rainforests. Each grade level will have a dedicated project with a specific lesson. All students will conduct research, create sketches of rainforests and watch visual presentations to gain inspiration. I am requesting Crayola Model Magic Clay, Magnetic Hooks, Plastic Toy Birds, Fake Moss and more.

We will be creating 3D sculptures, paintings, illustrations, 3D mixed media, and projects made out of recycled materials.

Students will use crayons, pastels, acrylic paint, bottle caps, magic model clay, play doh, watercolor, and graphite as some of the media. In addition to these supplies, students will learn how to properly frame the artwork using mat board and construction paper. Framing is essential to an artist as it allows students to have a finished and polished look.
