Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love working with my reading intervention students because they are eager, hardworking, and resilient. Many of them face challenges in literacy, but they show up every day with determination and a willingness to grow. Seeing their confidence bloom as they develop their reading skills is truly inspiring.

The materials I am requesting, including hands-on phonics games, Bob Books, and engaging literacy tools, will provide my students with the targeted support they need to build foundational reading skills.

The storage carts will help keep our learning space organized, making resources easily accessible for students to use independently. The laminating pouches and sticky easel pads will allow me to create durable, interactive materials to reinforce literacy concepts in fun and meaningful ways. Additionally, the classroom rewards will serve as positive reinforcement, encouraging students to stay motivated as they work toward their reading goals.

My goal for this project is to create a structured and engaging learning environment where students feel excited and empowered to read. With these resources, I can provide individualized support, make learning hands-on, and celebrate every step of progress.

What makes my students unique is their perseverance and enthusiasm for learning. Despite their obstacles, they continue to push forward, eager to improve. With your support, I can give them the tools they need to thrive and help foster a lifelong love of reading.
