This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my students for their curiosity and resilience, as they bring unique perspectives that enrich our classroom discussions.

By requesting a class set of "Inside Out and Back Again," I aim to provide them with a powerful narrative that reflects the immigrant experience and fosters empathy.

This resource will enhance their reading comprehension while promoting understanding of cultural identity, resilience, and adaptation. My goals for this project are to instill a love of reading and create an inclusive environment where every student feels valued.

What makes my students special is their ability to embrace differences and their genuine interest in learning from one another. This project will empower them to become empathetic and informed citizens as they connect with the themes in the book and share their own stories.
