My Project

As a kindergarten teacher, I have the privilege of nurturing the foundational skills that will set my students on the path to lifelong learning. This year, I am seeking funding for a Science of Reading toolkit designed to provide my students with effective, evidence-based strategies for literacy development.

These tools will assistant in introducing hands-on routines to my phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, and vocabulary instruction.

To support my young learners, I aim to create a vibrant and engaging literacy environment that caters to diverse learning styles and needs. Through targeted multisensory instruction, we can engage multiple senses—visual, auditory, and kinesthetic to enhance learning and retention.

By integrating these resources into our daily routines, I hope to foster a love of reading while equipping my students with the skills necessary to become confident readers. We are the foundation.
