My Project

Each year, my students embark on an unforgettable journey through The Hunger Games, a novel that not only captivates their imagination but also fosters a lifelong love for reading. Unfortunately, our current class set—handed down from another school—is falling apart. Pages are missing, covers are torn, and many copies are simply unusable, forcing students to share books. My students deserve better.

A new set of The Hunger Games would ensure that every student has their own copy—one they can hold, read, and connect with.

By providing them with quality books, we can create an environment where reading is not just a task, but an experience that inspires, engages, and supports their academic growth. Studies show that when students enjoy reading, their comprehension and overall academic performance improve. By investing in these books, we are investing in their future.

My students come from diverse backgrounds, and they deserve the resources necessary to not only succeed but to truly enjoy learning. With your support, we can turn the page on outdated, damaged books and open a new chapter filled with curiosity, excitement, and a deep appreciation for literature.
