My Project

I teach high school at D. High School, an underprivileged economically disadvantaged Title I school, urban/rural school. My students are eager learners with bright potential, but many face challenges outside of school that impact their ability to access the tools they need to succeed. Despite these obstacles, they show up each day ready to learn, explore, and grow.

This project will fund essential supplies such as cell phone lock box, Lysol, tissue, Lysol wipes, and other basic classroom materials.

These items are crucial for creating a productive learning environment where my students can focus on their education without the stress of lacking necessary tools and maintain a germ-free environment.

Additionally, I aim to foster creativity and engagement by incorporating colorful posters, dry-erase boards, and organizational tools to make our classroom a welcoming and efficient space for learning.

For many of my students, accessing these supplies at home is not an option. By ensuring every student has the tools they need, we can level the playing field and allow each child to focus on what truly matters: learning. Your support will directly impact their daily experience, helping them stay organized, engaged, and ready to learn.
