This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am passionate about my fourth graders and their boundless potential. They are curious, enthusiastic, and eager to learn, but they face challenges due to limited access to essential school supplies. My students come from diverse backgrounds, and many of them struggle with financial hardships that make it difficult for their families to provide the necessary tools for their education.

This aims to supply my students with glue sticks, paper, folders, notebooks, crayon boxes, dry erase markers, pencils, crayons, folders, highlighters, erasers, Kleenex, cardstock, laminating sheets, notebooks, sticky notes, markers, and headphones.

These items is crucial for creating an engaging and productive learning environment.

Glue sticks, paper, and notebooks will enable my students to express creativity and organize thoughts during writing. Folders and notebooks will help them keep their work organized and accessible, fostering a sense of responsibility and pride in their achievements. Crayon boxes, markers, and highlighters will add color to their learning, making lessons more engaging and enjoyable. Dry erase markers and erasers are essential for interactive learning, encouraging participation and collaboration. Kleenex will ensure that students can maintain stay healthy, while cardstock and laminating sheets will allow us to create durable learning materials to be used throughout the year. Headphones are vital for individualized learning experiences, for students who need to focus on specific tasks or use educational software.

My goal is to provide my students with the supplies they need to succeed academically and to foster a love of learning. Equipping them with these essential tools, we can level the playing field and ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive. My students are special because of their resilience, determination, and the joy they bring to the class. With your support, we can empower these young minds and set them on a path to success.
