Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I'm a first-year math and science teacher at a transformation, low income, school. I am hoping to enhance the students learning by providing an overall clean, fun, welcoming and engaging environment. The interactive learning tools and classroom supplies will provide my students with hands-on experiences that enhance engagement and deepen their understanding. For example, educational games and manipulatives will help them develop problem-solving skills and foster critical thinking. My primary goal for this project is to create a dynamic, engaging, and inclusive classroom where all students feel motivated and supported in their learning. I aim to foster a love of learning by providing resources that not only meet educational standards but also spark curiosity and creativity. My students come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique experiences, talents, and perspectives into the classroom. Despite facing challenges, they demonstrate resilience, determination, and a strong desire to learn.
