Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As an educator in a dual-language elementary school near the Texas-Mexico border, I strive to create a learning environment where every student feels supported, confident, and ready to succeed. Many of my students face economic hardships, and access to basic hygiene products, including period supplies, is often limited.

For young girls, getting their period at school without proper supplies can be stressful and embarrassing, leading to missed class time and a loss of focus on learning.

By providing pads, liners, and storage bags, I hope to ensure that no student has to experience that discomfort or disruption.

With your generous support, I can keep a stocked supply of period products readily available for my students. This small but impactful resource will help them feel prepared, secure, and confident in their daily learning. Your donation will directly contribute to their well-being and success in the classroom.
