This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My project:

English language learners thrive in an environment where they feel safe and comfortable enough to express themselves freely.

The products I have selected will help my students feel welcome as most of them have just arrived in the country within the past year or two. This classroom is a new home for the ELLs as they will be spending a significant portion of their schedule here.

Rug: will be used for a reading section within the classroom

Please help me to create a warm, inviting, and engaging environment for my middle school students. I have requested a variety of materials to transform our classroom into a welcoming and inclusive space where my English language learners can thrive. My hope for my students is for them to have a classroom space that they are proud of, provides comfort, and maximizes their learning potential. I have requested items to improve our learning space to create a more inviting space for my students that will improve their ability to collaborate with one another.
