Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are bright, determined elementary learners who face challenges with speech, language, and literacy. Many struggle with articulation, understanding and using language, and expressing their thoughts clearly. These difficulties also impact their ability to read and write, making it harder to engage in classroom learning.
Despite these obstacles, my students are eager to grow and thrive with the right support.
A Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) gift card will allow me to purchase engaging, research-based resources tailored to my students’ needs. These materials will help them develop:
• Speech and articulation skills through interactive games and activities
• Language comprehension and expression with structured lessons and visuals
• Phonological awareness and phonics to strengthen reading skills
• Writing support including sentence starters, graphic organizers, and structured prompts
• Social communication tools to improve conversations and interactions
These resources will enhance my therapy sessions and provide valuable practice at home, helping students build confidence in both spoken and written communication.
Speech, language, and literacy are the foundations of learning and self-expression. With your support, my students will gain the tools they need to overcome communication barriers, improve their reading and writing skills, and reach their full potential.
Thank you for helping my students find their voices and become stronger communicators!
