This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In today’s fast-paced world, many teens face overwhelming stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges. This project aims to create a supportive environment in our school by providing essential mental health resources and programs. We will focus on increasing awareness, offering coping strategies, and fostering open conversations about mental health.

Goals:

Provide Resources: Purchase books, journals, and educational materials that promote mental health awareness and coping strategies.

Workshops and Programs: Fund workshops led by mental health professionals to teach students about stress management, mindfulness, and emotional regulation.

Safe Space: Create a designated area in the school for relaxation and mental health activities, equipped with calming tools like fidget items, comfortable seating, and mindfulness materials.
