Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The sensory room, with a classroom carpet, will offer a dedicated space for our special needs students to engage in sensory activities tailored to their individual needs. By providing a variety of sensory tools and calming environments, such as the bubble fish tube and floor cushions, the room will help students manage sensory overload, reduce anxiety, and improve focus. This support will enable them to better engage with their lessons, interact positively with peers, and develop essential life skills. Ultimately, the sensory room will foster a more inclusive and supportive learning environment, helping students achieve their full potential and enhance their overall wellbeing.
