This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The sensory toys I’m requesting will provide my students with the tools they need to stay regulated and grounded. By offering sensory stimulation in a controlled, positive way, these items will help my students manage their emotions and focus better, creating a more conducive environment for learning.

My goal is to provide my students with a variety of sensory tools that will help them stay calm, focused, and engaged in the classroom.

I want to support their emotional well-being and ensure they have the resources they need to succeed academically and socially. My students are unique in their resilience and determination. Many face challenges that require additional support to stay engaged and focused. With the right tools, they are capable of achieving great things, and I want to provide them with the resources they deserve to thrive.
