This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For the past three years I have had the privilege to work with students that have developmental disabilities along with Autism. Finding activities that will help them with fine motor skills is extremely important. Making my classroom a safe and fun learning environment is my goal.

Many of my students will end up in assisted living facilities and need to be as independent as possible to have a quality life.

These fine motor sensory items will help student develop the ability to get dressed, feed themselves, and be able to use the restroom independently.
