This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My incredible 8th graders are preparing for their transition to high school, and I want to send them off with books that reflect their diverse identities and experiences. Many of my students don’t have access to books that represent them at home, and providing them with meaningful, representative literature will inspire a love for reading and lifelong learning. My goal is to empower them with stories that affirm their voices, celebrate their cultures, and prepare them for future success. With your support, we can make a lasting impact on their educational journey!
