DJs Are Musicians Too! Our Donors Choose project seeks 10 Numark PT101 Scratch turntables, and vinyl records to empower our exceptional students with learning a new musical skill. These cutting-edge tools will revolutionize their musical learning experience. By incorporating turntablism, students will develop skills in beat-matching, scratching, and mixing, deepening their understanding of rhythm and composition.
Through Scratch Sessions and collaborative projects, students will create original compositions, fostering teamwork and building self-confidence.
