Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

First and foremost, Thank you for helping me help my students. I am absolutely thrilled to have an opportunity to display amazing reading materials on the shelving that will catch the eye of the growing 3rd grade mind.

Not only will they enjoy a book during (Zen time) quiet reading, the bean bag chairs will provide an opportunity for small groups in the reading center.

Students will sit comfortably and read or discuss the book they are reading with their peers.

Last and definitely not least are the magazine subscriptions. The students in our school At Winters Well Elementary are simply amazing. They have a desire to learn yet the distance that some families need to drive to expose the student to real life fun such as the zoo, or children’s museum are simply too far for some. The magazines will bring to life opportunities that are in store for these students. The supplies, magazines, shelving and more allow my students to start dreaming and creating a future for the self.
