Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project seeks funding to provide an Apple laptop and a selection of diverse literature to support English Language Learners (ELLs) with disabilities in our elementary school. The goal is to create an inclusive, supportive environment that fosters language acquisition, promotes cultural awareness, and accommodates the diverse learning needs of our students.

Many of our ELL students with disabilities face significant barriers to learning, including limited access to adaptive technology and culturally relevant learning resources.

By providing an Apple laptop, we will ensure that students have access to assistive technologies, interactive language programs, and digital resources that support differentiated learning. The laptop will also be used for personalized learning and enable teachers to tailor content to individual needs.
