My Project

As an elementary school Counselor, I work with students from kindergarten through 5th grade with a variety of challenges, including: ADHD, anxiety, autism, trauma and other physical, emotional and learning disabilities. Many of these students lack self-confidence and struggle with managing their emotions, which significantly impacts their social skills and academic performance.

The “Breathe for Change” Yoga, Mindfulness and SEL course will enhance my current practice, allowing me to use different intervention strategies to support my students and their social, emotional and educational needs and give them skills they can use to succeed in all areas of their lives!
