This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my government class, we’re learning about the core principles of democracy, such as civic participation, transparency, and accountability. One of the most effective ways to engage students in these concepts is through discussion and project-based learning. However, to ensure that every student is an active participant, we need tools that will help them track their involvement and ideas.

The goal is to create a classroom community where each student takes ownership of their learning and can actively engage in discussions about democracy, and with your support, we can build a classroom where democracy comes to life!

The tools requested in this project will help foster a classroom environment where transparency and accountability are not just concepts, but daily practices. Each student will use their folder to store project materials, track participation, and set personal and classroom goals for improvement. The file boxes will help us keep everything organized and accessible so we can follow the progress of our year-long class project.
