Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The main goal of this project is to rebuild our running program at WES. Before Covid-19 we had our running team (GOTR), and our students thrived on it annually running at Springfield College. During Covid, the running program at our school was unfortunately discontinued, and we are looking into starting it back up. We are asking for a few new pairs of running shoes and socks for students to practice and improve their running skills.

Running is an easily accessible sport to the school community.

Students need little to no experience to start. However, they do need a good pair of running shoes. As we continue to rebuild the running community here at the school, we want to make running as accessible as possible to our students, many of whom cannot afford a new pair of quality running shoes.

Donations to our running club will make an immense difference for the community, providing essential resources that will significantly enhance our performance on and off the track.

With your support, we can invest in running shoes and socks. These resources will help our athletes run comfortably and find the joy of running. By bolstering our running club, your contributions will lead to healthier generations as well. Thank you in advance for your support.
