This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we work to provide the best support for our students, I want to highlight an important need that could transform the way we approach school counseling: access to an iPad. Technology can play a crucial role in enhancing the counseling services we offer, and an iPad would allow us to better serve the emotional and mental well-being of our students.

With an iPad, our counselors would have the ability to:

Access digital resources for students in need of guidance, such as mental health apps, coping strategies, and self-care tools.

Provide virtual counseling sessions to students who may benefit from remote support.

Organize and track student progress and well-being more effectively with specialized software.

Create a more interactive, engaging environment for students to explore emotional and psychological resources.

As you can imagine, these services are vital to helping students navigate academic stress, social challenges, and personal struggles. By donating an iPad, you will directly impact the lives of students who need it most, helping to ensure they have access to the support they need in a format that fits their lifestyle.
