My Project

At JDHS, our journalism program is dedicated to giving students the tools and skills they need to tell compelling stories, whether for our school newspaper, interviews, or multimedia projects. We are seeking a Canon mirrorless camera and a microphone to enhance their learning and allow them to produce high-quality, professional work. These tools are essential for conducting interviews, capturing visuals, and creating polished content that reflects the voices of our school community

The Canon Mirrorless Camera will be used by students to

capture professional-quality photos for school events, feature stories, and visual storytelling projects. The microphone will

record high-quality audio during interviews and event coverage. Students can also use these items to create podcasts, voiceovers, and multimedia content for the school’s journalism platform.

These tools will elevate the quality of our students’ work while giving them the confidence and resources to create meaningful content. Journalism is not just about writing—it's about capturing moments and voices. Supporting this project will empower our students to tell their stories professionally and creatively.
