Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a 5th-grade teacher in a low-income area, teaching all content areas to a diverse group of students, including English language learners and students with disabilities, I aim to provide the best learning experience possible. Unfortunately, our resources are limited. Ink for our printer allows me to create colorful, personalized resources, while colored card stock and protector sheets help in making durable, visually appealing materials that engage students. Anchor chart paper is used to create essential visual aids that reinforce key concepts in every subject, giving students ongoing access to the information they need.

Laminating sheets, scotch tape, and protector sheets are critical for producing reusable learning tools, particularly for stations and hands-on activities that benefit all learners, especially those who need additional support.

Notebooks give students a dedicated space for daily practice, reflection, and organization, and storage boxes help maintain a tidy, accessible classroom environment. These materials are vital for ensuring students can focus on their learning without distraction.

By providing these supplies, I can create a more dynamic and inclusive learning environment where all students, regardless of their learning needs, have the tools they need to succeed. Your support will empower my students, giving them the resources to thrive in a classroom designed to promote organization, creativity, and academic growth across all subject areas.
