This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are remarkable individuals who face daily communication challenges with determination and resilience. Whether they're working on articulation, language processing, or social communication skills each student brings unique strengths and perspectives to our speech sessions.

The MacBook will transform their learning by:

*Providing instant access to personalized visual supports and communication tools that match each student's specific needs

*Enabling real-time creation of social stories and visual schedules that help students navigate their school day

*Supporting executive functioning through digital organization tools and reminders

*Offering engaging multimedia activities that make speech practice motivating and fun

*Allowing accurate progress tracking to celebrate their growth

My goals are to:

**Increase student independence in communication

**Improve access to curriculum through better language support

**Enhance social interaction skills using modern tech tools

**Build confidence in their communication abilities

**Provide evidence-based intervention using current technology

What makes my students special is their persistence in overcoming communication barriers and their enthusiasm for learning new ways to express themselves. They light up when using interactive tools that help them communicate effectively, and their pride in mastering new skills is inspiring. This technology will give them the modern tools they need to succeed in today's digital learning environment.
