Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 5th-grade classroom comprises diverse learners, all of which are students with special needs. My students require tailored educational resources to ensure their growth and development. This project aims to provide essential teaching materials through Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) and Amazon gift cards.

My students who are on the Autism Spectrum and some that present with Intellectual Disabilities learn best when presented with math manipulatives, sensory items, visual picture cues, hands on activities, and social emotional learning materials.

These resources will support individualized learning plans, ensuring that each student's needs are met effectively and most importantly that they meet their individual needs.

Being able to purchase individualized resources will profoundly impact the education of my students with special needs by:

1. Providing tailored educational resources to accommodate diverse learning styles.

2. Enhancing the curriculum to meet individualized education plans.

3. Supporting the development and growth of each student, fostering a more inclusive and supportive learning environment.

4. Helping myself better address the individual needs of students, promoting academic and personal success.
