This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Imagine a classroom where dreams take shape and futures are forged—this is our vision for high school students in the South Bronx. Our vibrant community consists of diverse learners, many from impoverished backgrounds, who deserve a safe and inviting space to thrive and master essential financial skills.

We are seeking laptops to create a mid-year financial literacy class designed specifically for our high school students, including those in special education.

By integrating technology, students will engage with budgeting, savings, investments, and responsible money management in real-time, empowering them to break the cycle of financial hardship.

The HP laptops in our cart will enable interactive lessons, online resources, and financial simulations, enhancing the learning experience. With these tools, we can foster financial independence and build our students' confidence. They embody resilience and creativity, and with the right resources, they can achieve greatness.
