This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hi my name is Rosi, I am a Special Education teacher. This year will be my first year being a 12:1 Special Education Teacher in a low income South Bronx Elementary School.

I had added some materials onto my project that would greatly benefit my students such as headphones, dry erase markers, dry erase folders, etc.

These materials will benefit my students because it will help with sensory and tactile needs. The headphones will help students be able to focus on tasks like iReady and Raz Kids. The dry erase markers and folder will help students use hands on learning during small groups, and whole group instruction.

I believe that equity is very important in a school, not every student has the luxury of being able to have school supplies purchased for them. But with your help I can ensure that all my students are able to have the materials that they need in order to succeed.
