Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am continually inspired by the diversity, creativity, and resilience of my students. They bring unique perspectives and enthusiasm to our school every day, and I aim to support their growth and positive behavior through our PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) program.

This project seeks to replenish and expand the rewards available in our school store, which recognizes and encourages students' positive actions and achievements.

The variety of items in this request will cater to different interests and needs, providing motivation and encouraging continuous positive behavior. Crafting kits like the clay bead bracelet-making sets allow for creative expression and fine motor skill development. Sensory toys such as scented slime and squishies offer a fun, tactile experience that can reduce stress and promote focus. Tech gadgets like USB wired mice and LCD writing tablets not only reward students but also serve as practical tools for their studies. Interactive toys such as finger skateboards and magnetic drawing boards support cognitive development and dexterity.

The primary goal of this project is to enrich our PBIS program by providing a wider range of rewards that can appeal to all students. By enhancing our school store with items that students are excited to earn, we hope to reinforce positive behaviors, boost student engagement, and foster a supportive school environment where every student feels valued and motivated to do their best.

This project will directly support our students' educational and personal growth by reinforcing positive behaviors with rewards that they find valuable and exciting.
