Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my dual-language classroom, students are eager to improve their reading and writing skills in Spanish, but many need additional support to build fluency and confidence. To provide them with the best learning experience, I'm seeking hands-on activities, games, and materials that will engage them in small-group instruction and enhance their Spanish literacy.

I'm requesting Reading and Writing interactive games that will help my students practice essential Spanish reading and writing skills in a fun and engaging way.These games will support small-group instruction, where students can work together, learn from one another, and build their language skills in a supportive environment.

I'm also requesting Hands-On Activities, visual and tactile learning tools like letter tiles, and word-building kits that will allow students to manipulate language in an interactive way and reinforce their understanding of letter-sound relationships, vocabulary, and sentence structure. Lastly, I'm requesting a Teachers Pay Teachers Gift Card to purchase additional targeted activities and resources that are specifically designed for Spanish-language learners. These materials will allow me to differentiate instruction and provide extra support to students who may need additional help with reading and writing.

By providing these resources, you'll be helping my students build a strong foundation in their Spanish reading skills. These materials will allow them to practice in a more interactive and enjoyable way, making learning feel less like a task and more like a fun challenge. They will also help create an inclusive classroom where every student, regardless of their starting point, can thrive in their journey toward becoming confident, bilingual readers and writers.
