My Project

Providing an iPad and snacks for my students will significantly enhance their social-emotional learning (SEL) experience by creating a more engaging and supportive environment.

iPads offer interactive SEL tools such as apps that teach emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and mindfulness, catering to diverse learning styles.

I will use the iPads during dedicated SEL lessons, allowing students to explore guided exercises that promote self-awareness, stress management, and positive interpersonal relationships. The iPad will also serve as a tool for journaling emotions, participating in virtual group activities, and tracking personal growth through SEL metrics. These digital resources can help students develop critical skills like empathy, resilience, and decision-making at their own pace, fostering a sense of independence and responsibility.

Additionally, offering snacks helps meet students' physical needs, ensuring they are focused and comfortable during lessons, which is essential for emotional regulation and learning. A combination of technology and proper nourishment supports overall well-being and promotes a positive learning atmosphere where students feel safe, supported, and empowered to express themselves and connect with others. Through this approach, I aim to nurture not only academic success but also emotional intelligence and personal growth.
