Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The integration of an iPad and Apple Pencil into my math class will help the way my students engage with and understand mathematical concepts. The iPad will provide access to a variety of educational apps and resources, allowing students to interact with math innovative ways. For example, apps can offer instant feedback on practice problems, enabling students to identify and address misunderstandings in real-time as well as connect to the promethean board in my class. The Apple Pencil will facilitate seamless note-taking and problem-solving, allowing students to sketch out complex equations, diagrams, and graphs with precision. This hands-on approach can help demystify abstract concepts and make learning more interactive and personalized. Ultimately, these tools will cater to diverse learning styles and provide students with the resources they need to succeed academically.

My primary goal is to enhance students' understanding and engagement in math by integrating technology into their learning process.

I want to create an interactive and supportive learning environment where students can explore mathematical concepts through digital tools. Additionally, I want to use these tools to support students’ mental health by incorporating apps that promote mindfulness and stress management. By providing these resources, I hope to create a balanced approach that not only improves academic performance but also supports overall well-being. Our long-term goal is to build a classroom environment where technology enriches learning, fosters creativity, and helps students develop the skills they need for future success.

My demonstrate resilience and creativity in tackling difficult subjects and are always eager to explore new ways of thinking. Many of our students are also balancing academic responsibilities with extracurricular commitments and personal challenges, making their achievements even more impressive.
