My Project

In the remote reaches of St. Lawrence Island, nestled within the heart of Alaska, lies Savoonga, a community with unique challenges and incredible potential. Here, where the winds sweep across the tundra and the sea whispers stories of resilience, we embark on a journey to transform the scientific learning experience for our students. The introduction of Antibiotic Sensitivity Kits and Scientific Method Kits is not just an addition to the curriculum, it's a beacon of opportunity and a catalyst for change.

The Antibiotic Sensitivity Kit is not just a box of tools; it is a gateway to the microscopic world that governs life.

In a region where exposure to hands-on scientific experiences is limited, this kit brings the essence of microbiology directly into the hands of our students. By providing the materials needed for antibiotic sensitivity testing, we empower our learners to explore the intricate dance between bacteria and antibiotics, fostering a deeper understanding of real-world applications of scientific principles. In the isolation of St. Lawrence Island, specifically in the village of Savoonga, where access to laboratories is a luxury, the Antibiotic Sensitivity Kit serves as a portable laboratory, breaking down barriers to practical learning. Students can witness firsthand the impact of antibiotics on bacterial cultures, transcending the theoretical realm and stepping into the realm of discovery.
