This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Middle school is a pivotal time for students to develop the communication and language skills they need for academic and personal success. Many of the students I work with in speech therapy face significant challenges with vocabulary, understanding figurative language, comprehending text, and organizing their thoughts for writing. To help them overcome these obstacles, I am requesting a Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) gift card to purchase targeted, high-interest materials that align with their needs and interests.

TPT offers an incredible array of creative resources specifically designed for middle schoolers.

These resources include interactive lessons, digital tools, and engaging activities that address a variety of language goals.

Using materials from TPT, I can tailor lessons to my students’ specific language deficits while keeping them motivated with content that feels relevant and fun. These resources will allow me to create therapy sessions that are not only effective but also engaging, giving my students the confidence and skills they need to excel in school and beyond.
