My Project

I teach kindergarten through fifth-grade learning support at the itinerant and supplemental level. I work with a range of ability levels, but they work so hard to grow in their learning so that they can fill their gaps and hopefully move to the grade level. My students persevere even though some have hard lives at home. They come into a safe environment that they consider their second home. They come in each day wanting to build themselves up and live up to the potential that I see in them every single day.

I want to make it easier to differentiate my students' learning through having Chromebooks and to empower my students through their learning.

I also want to be able to make their learning more fun by having different ways for my students to learn other than through paper and pencil. I will also be able to reach some of my learners who learn more visually or in other ways that can't be done through paper and pencil because I am easily able to modify material and concepts through digital learning. I also think having Chromebooks in my room will allow students to build their independence, which my students need to learn as they get into the older elementary.
